  • Stop the blame game – The past is gone and there’s nothing you can do about it. Stop blaming the past or others. You are in the now and should make things work towards a better future. You need to be ready to lose, learn new things and ultimately succeed. Get out of your comfort zone, put yourself out there, take risks and aim to do something different, such as learning a new skill or hobby.
  • Get a mentor – A mentor is needed to save yourself from rat race. If you need help identifying ways to build your self-development skills, talk to a mentor. This mentor could be a founder, manager, professor, or omeone you admire.
  • Be happy – It sounds like the simplest advice one could ever give, but it’s so true. Be happy! Life is far too short to live in misery. See the positives and don’t dwell on the negatives
